SOCSS is a subdivision within HTS and its’ mission is to

• Provide information on the true history and beliefs of the Salafiyyah Movement as well as other cults;

• Explain the texts of the Qur’an and the Sunna that these movements has misunderstood;

• Reach out to Salafis and cultists who are confused and lost in the legalism of these movements;

• Inform the cultists that they can have a sound and meaningful relationship with Allah without depending on their elders;

• Present Muslim Orthodoxy to them in a lucid and understandable way, with love and not anger;

• Understand those who are distraught and searching for how to understand salvation properly and what purpose Allah has for their life;

• Make programmes and helplines available for those in the movement who want to get out but don’t know how or those in the movement who have doubts;

• Dialogue with those who have questions about us, with complete professional service and confidentiality. Salvation is a permanent and personal choice and has to be made in a personal way. Anonymity helps this process and aids those involved to make a responsible choice.
